Experience

I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University, where I received intensive training in both cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and psychodynamic therapies. I completed my APA-accredited pre-doctoral Internship at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital in Morris Plains, NJ, working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. I have training in other settings such as Brooklyn College Counseling Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Parnes Clinic, and several nursing home and rehabilitation facilities. I have also received post-doctoral training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a cognitive-behavioral treatment that promotes acceptance and skill-building for individuals with chronic emotional difficulties and trauma. In addition to my private practice, I enjoy supervising psychologists-in-training as part of the year-long psychology internship program at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital.
